Description

Gender and sexuality are integral parts of how we understand ourselves and relate to one another, yet these identities and expressions are often narrowed, reduced to binaries, or restricted by heteronormative definitions. This course invites learners to expand awareness of the full constellation of gender and sexual identities, expressions, and experiences that make up our shared human story. Learners will explore how affirming the dignity of each person’s identity and expression strengthens communities and promotes collective well-being. Through conversation, reflection, and storytelling, participants will examine how exclusion and erasure cause harm, and will identify ways to foster environments where authenticity and belonging are possible for everyone.
