Cedar Creek is the birthplace of modern ecosystem ecology and the source of numerous discoveries that have shaped how we see nature and understand our role in it. It’s also a microcosm of Minnesota with oak savanna, prairie, and boreal and deciduous forest. It is a wonderful place to learn about science and the world around us, whether you are 9 or 90! However, its 5500 acres are generally off-limits to the public. Sign up for a class, tour, camp or guided hike to experience an insider's view of Cedar Creek!
